Very Funny!

Remember the 10 minutes song that I sing during KTV? Here is a new version! :-)

Off to Taiwan

Will be flying off tomorrow and I have to borrow this Claire's song from OT 2 for this special moment,

"I am leaving, on a journey, journey of my life! Believing there is a rainbow, at the end, for me."

Alright, see you 2 months later!

The Day before Patho Pros!

Is tomorrow! I am so excited, I can't wait! I hope it will be over really soon and that everyone passes and we can all go to our electives and whatever trips at our own leisurely time!

Sideline a bit, caught a bit of Stairway to Heaven, that Korean drama on TV during lunch. After so many years, it still managed to trigger some tear flowing mechanism in me. Well, I think I only watched this Korean drama completely + Bong Dal Hee.

Did you read Sunday Times today? I thought Sumiko Tan's article on singlehood was quite thought provoking. But then again, I am an amoeba. It doesnt really bother me.

Final lap, and then is the end of Pros.

Hooray!

Famalee

As my plantar corn/wart/don't-know-what-crap-it-is continue to be extremely painful while I continue to try to focus on Pathology and think of ways to recall the million of things associated with it. As I woke up this morning with a spoilt phone which got hanged and subsequently could never switch it on anymore, I thought about the famalee. The famalee brought back many sweet memories I had with OT 2. Perhaps, I am still suffering from post OT 2 blues or perhaps more than that but I guess I shall dedicate this post to the famalee.

We all started out as Easties. I mean we are still Easties. Amanda S just reminded me of our very first dinner at Popeye's Chicken. I can't remember much of it except for the tonnes of chili we had to use. Subsequently, we went there again the next day for dinner. Then we had prata at SB, taiwanese noodles at cathay, bedok tang yuan (occasionally), Changi Village Dim Sum. We talked and laughed about everything and anything. We never wanted it to end, at least I never wanted it to. Who will ever forget the cockroach that joined us one fine night. :-)

Then there was the Legend. I guess I shan't elaborate much here. It always take me a lot of courage and good cushioning around my seat for me to watch horror movies, or semi-horror movies. I have a weak heart you see.

Now that we are back to our normal hectic shedule, when will we meet again?

Famalee from L to R: Moira C, Amanda S, Chris H and me.

To tell you the truth, I still miss the famalee. I hope we remain close friends like it was.

Thanks for all the great time spent together.

Thanks for everything.

Merry Christmas!

I think I spent my busiest Christmas eve in Year 2007! Being busy is good but I prefer to laze around anytime! A break down of what I did;

1) Woke up --> Good Morning!
2) OT 2 Rehearsal --> Please do try to make it (4th/5th January, 2008 Tickets starting at 15 dollars). I hope I won't disappoint though. :-)
3) I am still rehearsing
4) Rehearsing
5) Rehearsing --> Trying hard to sing
6) Did some electives administrative stuff and wished everyone Merry Christmas in the office like I have never wished before.
7) Dinner at La Mian Xiao Long Bao --> How Christmas is that? Very!
8) BBQ Christmas Eve Party at J's house. Is an annual tradition I guess. Always great to catch up with friends from all walks of postings once again.
9) Rush home --> Sorry, VC, I could only drop you at the MRT.
10) To the Cathedral for midnight mass! I must say that the Cathedral saved my Christmas this year. I thought the Grinch took it away, but I guess I was a good boy the whole year round and he returned it to me when the church bells rang! Thanks M&C (now I know why we are friends, we share the same name!!) for accompanying me, standing like a little mouse peeping through the window at the Cathedral. I know you guys were very tired. Thanks really! Anyway, the Cathedral was really that crowded. :-)

I would love to end this post with a song. But I seriously, do not have any lyrics in mind now. Just take it as I ended with a Christmas-sy song.

Merry Christmas!!

An Infrequent Random Update (IRU)

Anson Chan claimed victory at the Legislative Council by-election today. Although, it is not exactly a landslide victory, it is still very much a major milestone for democracy in Hong Kong.

HK also bid farewell to KCR who has served residents of HK for almost a century. With the merger of KCR and MTR, the new entity also known as MTR would mean cheaper fares and seamless train services. I guess, it is a good thing for everybody.

As for my O&G posting, I managed to deliver a 3.7+kg baby boy in the wee hours of the morning. I thought I would be really thrilled but maybe I was too tired to be. O&G is ending soon which translates to the fact that a major exam is fast approaching.

I know nothing.

Help!

Miriam's Rather New Song

I quite like this song!

On a sidenote, reality checks are painful but very much needed.
